This extension shows price and decimal filters as sliders. Optionally, you can assign slider template to attribute filters too.
As to filters not configured as sliders, it enables store customers to apply several options of the same filter. Example: customer can filter product list by few colors (for instance read and blue) at the same time.

This extension makes store navigation more flexible and more user-friendly by enabling store customer to filter products by price range, size range etc - almost any filter can be configured to act as a range filter.
After installation price filter and all decimal filters in layered navigation are displayed as sliders.
Sliders are really easy to use. Store customer visually sees actually applied range of products on the scale of all available products. Just by dragging range endpoints (called slider handles) store customer can easily change applied range.
On non-slider filters, several options can be selected at the same time: when store customer chooses one filter option by clicking it, catalog is filtered by chosen option; after applying filter store customer still has possibility to choose and apply other option of the same filter. So you give store customer possibility to apply as many options of the same filter as customer needs.
