Free Product Licensing

Q. You distribute your free products under Open Source License. What does it mean to me?

A. You are free to download, copy and modify our free products under the terms of  Open Source License v3.0 (you can read full text of the license at http://opensource.org/licenses/osl-3.0.php).

Q. Is there any limitations on number of Magento websites, users, servers licensed to use your free products?

A. No.

Q. Can I redistribute your free products, modified or verbatim?

A. Yes, as long as you distribute them under Open Source License v3.0.

Q. Can I include your free products as a part of my extension or theme?

A. Yes, as long as you distribute your extension or theme under Open Source License v3.0.

Q. What if I would like to include your free products as a part of my proprietary extension or theme or in case any other use prohibited by Open Source License v3.0?

A. In any such case please contact us, and let's find mutually acceptable licensing deal.

Paid Product Licensing

Q. You distribute your paid products under Proprietary License. What does it mean to me?

A. Our paid products are licensed per installation, that is if you purchase 1 license of a product, you can use this product on 1 Magento installation. You can not create copies or distribute paid product, modified or verbatim (you can read full text of the license at http://www.manadev.com/license).

Q. What if I have several websites, stores or store views in my Magento installation?

A. It is completely legal to use licensed paid product on any website, store or store view in the same Magento installation.

Q. What if I have several Magento installations using your paid products on the same website ?

A. In this case, you should purchase a license for each Magento installation.

Q. What about my development/testing environment?

A. Our proprietary license allows use of a paid product in additional Magento installation for development/testing (but not production) use.

Q. What if I would like to include your paid products as a part of my proprietary extension or theme or in case any other use prohibited by your Proprietary license?

A. In any such case please contact us, and let's find mutually acceptable licensing deal.
